Dawn Ide Austin’s family law practice includes traditional Advocacy, Collaborative Law and Mediation. A solo practitioner for 24 years, Dawn co-founded Family Law Collaborative Solutions, LLC in Dedham in 2009 with her two partners.

She has extensive experience in negotiated divorce and custody settlements and has represented clients in scores of successful collaborative law cases and mediations. She embraces the philosophy that collaborative law and mediation produce the healthiest outcomes for divorcing couples and families.

Dawn has a B.A. from Vassar and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. She is a certified divorce mediator. She was a founding member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council and served on the Board of Directors from 2000 to 2009. She is currently on the Advisory Board.
